V-belts are widely used in machinery. The cross-section of the standardization V-belt appears trapezoidal, and the whole ring without joint. 1. Selecting the right type
The selected type should be compatible with the optional V-belt, otherwise the V-belt pulley groove will appears normal. When you change the V-belt, you should better bring the old v-belt to the agricultural sector, in case the type is wrong.
2. Installed correctly
Before installation, if the two shafts center distance is adjustable, you should shortened the center distance fisrt, and then the tape loaded the tape, at last, adjustable the center distance according to the requirement; but if the two shaft center distance is not adjustable, you can put a V-belt set into the pulley slot, then turn another pulley, at the end, fitted the V-belt, set the other group v-belt using the same method. It is prohibit using tools drag or pry on V-belt, to avoid the elongation or too loose or too tight phenomenon.
3. Prevent channeling
When fitting the pulley, the center of the two belt pulley must be aligned, otherwise it will cause v-belt unilateral work, serious abrasion, lower triangular belt life.
4. Elastic fit
V-belt tightness must always checked and adjustmented, to make it meet the requirements. If the V-belt is too loose, it is not only easy to slip, and also increase the V-belt wear, even can not transfer power; it it is too tight, will not only to make the V-belt stretching deformation, easy to damage, but also cause the engine main bearings and clutch bearings speed up the V-belt wear due to excessive force. The correct way to check: in the middle of each tape applied vertical pressure kilograms, sinking 20 - 30 mm is appropriate and inappropriate to adjust it by hand.
5.Do not mixed the old and new v-belt
When double root or more than three V-belt needs to be replaced, choose the provisions of the models of the V-belt, and make each group of the V-belt tightness consistent, do not allowed to old and new mixed or reduce the use of root number, otherwise, the old and the new V-belt will be in different pressure, and even the old V-belt does not work again, leading to power transmission impacted and shorten the life of the V-belt.
6.Strict precautions against contamination
To take strict precautions against the V-belt oil and stained with mud and water, avoid contact with corrosive substances such as acids, alkalis, to prevent slipping and corrosion V-belt.
7. Daily maintenance
In normal driving, users should master the correct operating essentials, in accordance with instructions for use of the technical requirements, try to avoid hard starting and braking; also should prevent often overloaded with work; removing the belt and kept alone while the mechanical long-term disabled.
